Chapter 11, Bait Questions

1. When Diego's mom said she didn't expect him to go on a date, do you think that Diego thought his mom's response as her calling him gay? Why do you think Diego got mad at his mom even though he got to use the car?
2.Do you think Diego confessing to Ariel about being on probation helped him emotionally? How do you think Diego feels when Ariel says, "it's like there's something hurt inside you that's calling out to me."
3.Do you think Diego could have told Ariel more about his past? Do you think the relationship is a good thing for Diego? Why?

    Question 3-
    I think that Diego should have let Ariel a bit more, but not much more because it was just they're first date. Also the relationship between him and Ariel will help him in the long run and will help him open up more, now that he he has two sources to relieve his angry.

    I think that Diego confessing to Ariel about his probation did help Diego emotionally, because it was one less thing on his mind. When Ariel say, "it's like there's something hurt inside you that's calling out to me" I think he feels, surprised and happy/relieved because Ariel isn't going to leave him, and he can open up more.
